If you are an Envestra shareholder we are required to collect your name, address, phone number and banking details. This information may be supplied by you, your stockbroker or some other agent acting on your behalf to Link Market Services the companys share registry. If in accordance with Australian tax laws you choose to supply your Tax File Number (TFN), we pass this information to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). We may also provide information on distributions to the ATO. Link Market Services maintains TFNs in a secure area on their share register computer system.
Envestra is committed to keeping your personal information secure and confidential. We use contractors, agents and suppliers to assist us in servicing you. We may disclose your personal information to your stockbroker, accountant, a family member or other person who reasonably identifies themselves as authorised. We will generally seek some indication that the party contacting us is you or an authorised agent. If you cease to be a shareholder your records remain securely stored.
